Is this real mining?

No. HashDesk is a cloud mining simulator. It uses the live Bitcoin price and network difficulty to calculate a simulated income, but your phone mines nothing and no cryptocurrency is bought or held.

Can I withdraw my BTC or dollars?

No. All balances in HashDesk are virtual: they cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for money or sent to a wallet or an exchange, and they are never paid out. Pool payouts go to the virtual wallet inside the App. If someone offers to buy or pay out HashDesk balances, it is not us.

Why does the price differ from my exchange?

The App takes the price from public sources (Coinbase Exchange, then Kraken or CoinGecko if it does not answer) about once a minute and keeps the last reading when you are offline. A different exchange, a delay of a minute or a lost connection explain small differences. Before a purchase or an exchange the App checks that the price you saw is still the one it uses; if it moved, it asks you to check the sum again.

How does a price call work?

You choose "higher" or "lower"; the App reads the price right after you tap and checks it at the close of the minute when the call ends, on the same exchange. A right call adds a virtual BTC bonus, a wrong one takes nothing away, an equal price gives the attempt back. There are a few calls a day.

I got a new phone or reinstalled the App

iPhone and iPad: if you are signed in to iCloud, the App restores your account from iCloud on the first start. Profile → Cloud save shows the status and other copies of your account you can switch to.
Android: the App has no cloud save yet. If Android's own backup is on, the system may restore the App's data with your device backup; otherwise progress starts over.

We cannot restore progress ourselves: we do not keep it.

Restore "No ads"

Open Profile → No ads → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account or Google account you bought with. A one-week purchase lasts 168 hours from the moment of purchase and does not renew. Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory).

Ads and privacy choices

Videos for rewards are optional: you tap the button with the AD mark only if you want the reward. Where the law requires it, the App shows Google's consent form; on iPhone the App asks whether it may track. You can change the tracking answer in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and reset the advertising ID on Android in Settings → Google → Ads. Notifications

Profile → Notifications turns them on and off. If the row says notifications are off in the phone settings, allow them for HashDesk in the system settings.

Delete my data

On your device: delete the App. On iPhone, also delete the iCloud copy: Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → HashDesk.
With analytics and ad services: write to support@hashdesk.org with the subject "Delete my data". There is no account, so tell us what helps find your installation: platform, device model, App version, the approximate date you installed it and, if you can, your advertising ID. We delete what we hold and ask AppMetrica, Adjust and Google to delete theirs; we answer within 30 days.
