Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and TEF SYSTEMS LTD, Paphos, Cyprus ("we", "us") about the HashDesk app (com.hashdesk.app, "the App"). By installing or using the App you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.
1. What HashDesk is
1.1. HashDesk is a cloud mining simulator for learning and entertainment. It uses public data of the Bitcoin network and market (price, difficulty) to calculate a simulated income.
1.2. Everything in the App is virtual. Dollars, BTC, satoshis, contracts, hashrate, pool payouts, bonuses, levels and ranks in the App are virtual units of the simulation. They have no monetary value, are not property, cannot be withdrawn, sold, transferred or exchanged for money, cryptocurrency or anything of value, inside or outside the App, and are never paid out.
1.3. The App does not mine cryptocurrency, does not hold or transfer cryptocurrency, is not a wallet, an exchange or a cloud mining service, and does not let you buy or sell any real asset.
1.4. No financial advice. Nothing in the App — prices, charts, calculations, expected results of contracts, market news or price calls — is financial, investment or tax advice or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Results in the simulation say nothing about results of real mining or trading.
1.5. Price call. A price call ("higher" or "lower") costs nothing: a right call adds a virtual bonus, a wrong one takes nothing away. It is not a bet and involves no stake.
1.6. Leaderboard. The leaderboard is a simulated network of miners generated by the App; it does not show other people.
2. Market data
The price and network data come from third-party public sources (Coinbase Exchange, Kraken, CoinGecko, mempool.space, blockchain.info) and may be late, missing or wrong. Without a connection the App keeps using the last reading. We do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of this data.
3. Your use of the App
3.1. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute it except as the law allows, interfere with its operation or the ads in it, or use it in breach of the law.
3.2. The App is not intended for children. You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 in the European Economic Area, or the minimum age required in your country.
3.3. Your progress is kept on your device (and, on iOS, in your iCloud). If you delete the App or lose the device without a copy, the progress is lost; we cannot restore it, because we do not keep it.
4. Purchases
4.1. The App offers one optional purchase, "No ads", sold by the Apple App Store or Google Play: for one week (168 hours from the purchase, it does not renew) or forever. It turns off full-screen ads and banners on that store account; videos you choose to watch for in-App rewards stay. It does not buy any virtual currency or other content.
4.2. Payments, refunds and cancellations are handled by Apple or Google under their terms; contact them for a refund. A refunded purchase is withdrawn from the App at its next check with the store. "Restore purchases" in the App returns a purchase made with the same store account.
4.3. Prices are shown by the store before you pay and may change.
5. Ads
The App shows ads from third parties (section 4.5 of the Privacy Policy). Some videos give a virtual in-App reward if you choose to watch them; their availability depends on ad networks and is not guaranteed. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for products they promote.

7. Changes and availability
We may change, add or remove features, rules and numbers of the simulation (for example plans, bonuses, limits), reset or correct virtual balances that result from errors or abuse, and suspend or end the App. Because virtual units have no value, no compensation is due for such changes.
8. Intellectual property
The App, its design, texts and code belong to us or our licensors. Fonts and open-source components are used under their licenses, listed in the App. Bitcoin and the names of third-party services belong to their owners; their mention does not imply endorsement.
9. Disclaimer and liability
9.1. The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
9.2. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for decisions you make based on the App, or for the loss of virtual progress. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App's purchases in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your statutory consumer rights.
10. Apple and Google
10.1. These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content, for maintenance and support, or for claims about it (product liability, compliance with law, intellectual property), except as their terms say.
10.2. If you got the App from the Apple App Store: your license is limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control and to the Usage Rules of the Apple Media Services Terms; if the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation; you confirm you are not in a country under a US embargo or on a US list of prohibited parties; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live. Disputes go to the courts of Cyprus, unless the law gives you the right to go to the courts of your country.
12. Changes to these terms
We will post a new version here with a new effective date. If you keep using the App after that, the new terms apply.
